2019/2020 NewsLast year was a MONSTER success for KCI Drama! We had an incredible start to our 2018/2019 year with our FIFTH annual production of LIMELIGHT, which showcased an incredible array of talent both onstage and behind the scenes! The drama, music, and dance components were all stellar, while being supported by our phenomenal technical and visual arts crews! Our season continued with an incredible showing by our Raiders of The Lost Art Improv Team, who competed at the Canadian Improv Games earning FOURTH PLACE overall at the Tri-City Regional Finals. Finally, we finished our year with our official collaborative musical follow-up to 2017's production of The Addams Family, with our SOLD-OUT run of The Hunchback of Notre Dame! Featuring the combined efforts of staff and students from KCI Drama, Music, and Art, as well as our phenomenal Tech Crew and Tech Ed departments, we pulled off this epic musical which starred a cast of almost 70 students, an orchestra of almost 30 students, and probably close to another 50 students helping out behind the scenes in various capacities to ensure this show looked and sounded as beautiful as it did! We could not be more proud of all of these groups, as well as everyone on Drama Council, Drama Club, and all of our Drama Courses for giving us another amazing year!
